The countdown is on for Caged Steel 41, a night packed with elite Professional MMA, Amateur MMA prospect and exciting Caged Boxing talent, title fights, and international matchups that will have fight fans on their feet. Replacing Matthew Day, Yves Musasa, 31, brings nine years of training and real-life grit into this title shot. Born in the Congo DRC, he fell in love with MMA after watching UFC as a teenager, later serving in the Royal Air Force Regiment before committing to full-time training. Now fighting out of Engine Room Boxing, he carries a 5–4 record built on toughness and skill. Yves has trained with UFC veterans and world-class coaches… and he fights with heart.
Across from him stands 22-year-old Connor Nicolson, one of Scotland’s most exciting prospects. Fighting out of Higher Level MMA, he’s grown up around martial arts as the son of a professional fighter and BJJ black belt. A firefighter and coach by day, Connor brings discipline, relentless pace, technical sharpness, and a dangerous fight IQ. With a 4–2 record and elite coaching behind him, he’s coming to Doncaster to claim championship gold.
This matchup brings everything that defines top-tier amateur MMA. A title fight with fire, and serious stakes.

Reigning Caged Steel champion Archie Jones hails from Retford, but fights out of Franco’s Boxing Club in Gainsborough, under Caged Steel veteran Rico Franco. Jones has established his reputation as one of the most composed and gifted young boxers in the UK boxing scene. Known for his clever defence and precise counterpunching, Archie doesn’t waste a single movement, his calmness under pressure and ability to read opponents make him a tough opponent to read. He’s had multiple Caged Steel appearances, over the events we’ve seen him develop into an impressive athletes.
Challenging him is Corey Holloway from Kingdom Boxing Academy in Scunthorpe, a driven young athlete hungry to even the score. After a strong performance in their first meeting on Caged Steel, Corey has spent months developing his game, determined to return sharper, faster, and more dangerous. He’s built a reputation for high-volume output, constant pressure, and the kind of grit that fans can’t help but get behind. He is a different athlete to what Archie will remember. Corey’s fans are predicting a knockout against Archie.
This isn’t just a rematch. It’s about pride, progress, and proving who truly rules the division. Expect a technical masterclass and raw emotion when these two meet again for the title on December 13th.

Tiago “Hwarang” Oliveira, a Portuguese athlete training out of Reykjavík MMA in Iceland, returns for his fourth appearance under the Caged Steel banner. Tiago is disciplined, tactical, and unshakeable under pressure. He’s a dark horse in and contest. Ranked among Europe’s top 900 lightweights, he’s on a one-fight win streak and eager to build momentum with another strong performance.
His opponent, Will Gibson from Newcastle, fights out of TFT MMA (Team Fish Tank) in Sunderland, one of the UK’s most respected MMA gyms under Andrew Fisher. this gym produces globally known athletes like Phil And Still’ De Fries from KSW and Mick Parkin from the UFC. Will is a gritty, battle-tested fighter who’s never in a boring contest. With a wealth of amateur experience and professional bouts across the UK, he’s looking to rebound with a statement victory.
Expect this fight to showcase high-level grappling from Gibson, sharp striking exchanges from Oliveira, and real MMA grit from both men. It’s the kind of matchup that shows exactly why Caged Steel is known for giving fans world-class MMA right here in the UK.
This is a very exciting Amateur Super lightweight fight at 74.8KG. When you talk about toughness and determination, James Hales from Ringside Boxing, Birmingham, is the definition. A business owner with five kids and a busy lifestyle. He’s a seasoned competitor with a shoot Box fight style, a hybrid of boxing and wrestling. Hales brings forward pressure, raw strength, and old-school grit to every fight.
His opponent, Dave Brooke Stowe from Fight Ministry Humberston, thrives in chaos. He’s been out of action for a long time, since 2012. He was known for his aggression and relentless cardio, Stowe doesn’t take a backward step. When the bell rings, he’s immediately in his opponent’s face, trading shots, looking for takedowns, and forcing a brawl that breaks opponents mentally as well as physically.
This is a clash of blue-collar toughness, two fighters who have built their skillsets through pure graft and experience. Expect blood, sweat, and an explosion of energy from start to finish. You will be on the edge of your seat. This isn’t a fight for the faint-hearted, it’s for those who love raw, unfiltered combat.

James Thomson is known for his range, cage control and willingness to go to war when the fight demands it. He thrives in chaos and has shown he can bite down and swing when the crowd is behind him. Akia Danns brings a very different style: speed, ferocious power, and never takes a back foot. Both are talented. Both are dangerous. But neither has faced an opponent like this before.

Elliott Dring-Hill from Hull fighting out of Carlson Gracie and Gripper Jiu-Jitsu and Miloš Nekić from Birmingham’s Breese MMA and Team Renegade: both come from hard gyms and carry that same fighting spirit. Both suffered losses earlier this year, and both have taken those setbacks personally. Now, each man is stepping into Caged Steel determined to make a statement and prove that he’s better than ever.
Elliott brings an entertaining fight, with spinning back fists, aggressive takedowns and a gruelling pressure that keeps on wanting more, this is his third Caged Steel appearance. Miloš, meanwhile, his first Caged Steel appearance, we’ve seen he is a dangerous all-rounder; technically polished, well-conditioned, and always dangerous when he finds his rhythm.
This fight is about redemption. Two athletes with something to prove, throwing everything they’ve got to leave no doubts in Doncaster.

Arron “The Emperor” Wales, from Barnoldswick, is one of the most battle-tested athletes on the card. A two-weight promotional champion, Wales has fought over 40 times and even gone toe-to-toe with two-time BKB world champion Scott McHugh. Known for his strong chin, forward pressure, and knockout intent, he embodies the spirit of a fighter who simply refuses to quit.
Standing across from him is Owen “El Torro” Paterson, a 25-year-old talent from Doncaster’s Franco’s Boxing Club. Despite only two years in the sport, Owen has amassed a 7–3 record, showcasing steady growth and serious promise. Trained by Rico Franco and Martin Jones, he brings a southpaw stance, clever movement, and relentless pressure that wears opponents down. Winning a Caged Steel title has been a dream since he used to watch in the crowds.
This is youth versus experience. Owen’s confidence and momentum against Arron’s battle-hardened durability. Every second will matter, and with the Lightweight English Title on the line, neither man will hold anything back.

Growing up in New Zealand, Luke “The Problem” Silva now resides in Sheffield, UK and trains out of Riley’s Boxing, he is one of the most physically imposing athletes on the card, standing 6ft 7in tall, weighing 115kg, and carrying genuine knockout power in both hands. He is a unit! A fan favourite after his last dominant Caged Steel performance, Silva is known for his relentless forward pressure, smart use of range, and terrifying power. Once he gets going, it’s like watching a freight train in motion.
His opponent, Brad Benecke, from Leeds, brings pure determination and heart to the cage. He’s tough, durable, and thrives on the underdog mentality, willing to absorb punishment and keep moving forward until he finds his moment. Don’t underestimate him from his appearance.

A battle between two young rising stars, Owen Walton from Doncaster Martial Arts Centre faces Toby Brown of The Kingdom Boxing Academy, Scunthorpe, in an exciting Junior Caged Boxing contest.
At just 16 years old, Owen Walton has a taste of the Caged Steel atmosphere, having made his debut in MMA earlier this year. With a background in striking and guidance from respected coach Wayne Murrie, Owen transitions to Caged Boxing for this bout, bringing with him a well-rounded skill set and the composure of someone well beyond his years. Balancing his education with training, he thrives under pressure and loves the energy of fight night.
His opponent, 15-year-old Toby Brown, represents The Kingdom Boxing Academy, a gym known for producing technical, forward-pressing fighters. With two wins and one loss in his short but promising career, Toby’s development has been rapid under the mentorship of his coaches and teammates. Boxing has become a driving force in his life, giving him confidence, discipline, and motivation to push for success. Known for his aggressive approach and non-stop pace, Toby is set on making a statement.
Both athletes represent the future of combat sports in the UK, hungry, focused, and fearless. Expect three fast-paced rounds. Regardless of their experience and place in the card, they’re determined to steal the show
