AVT’s Matthew “The Hammer” Hodgson returns to Caged Steel on July 14th, with yet another tough matchup for the promotion’s amateur middleweight title. Since his first bout at Doncaster Dome in 2014, he has consistently taken on the best opposition available, and although the results may not have gone the way he wanted, he’s had invaluable experience.

Marcin “Mad Boy” Prostko is a fighter that is renowned for his all-action style. From his early days debuting in the cage with Caged Steel, to now taking on one of his biggest tests to date at Caged Steel 21, he’s had a quite a journey in front of the Doncaster crowd, and it continues on July 14th.
He’ll meet Grimsby’s James Bateman, an experienced local favourite who has been in the game for many years, briefly featuring on The Ultimate Fighter 9 back in 2009. Grimbsy-based Latvian fighter Madars Fleminas made his professional debut in December of last year, picking up a dominant first round victory at Caged Steel 19.
Eager to keep up the momentum and work towards his goals, the up-and-coming prospect approached Lukasz Pilch – a more experienced pro from the renowned Full Contact Performance Centre – to try and get the fight on for CS 20 in March.
With a huge bout set for Fleminas, hundreds of his fans followed him to Doncaster to take on the Polish athlete, but minutes before they were due to walk out to the cage, disaster struck.
